I understand that some customers can be difficult when it comes to ordering, but I am always very, very specific and do not make my order complicated. So it bothers me, that when I order 3 double cheeseburgers, one with no onions, that they put on the screen 1 cheeseburger extra onion and 2 cheeseburgers no ketchup on the menu screen. And of course when they ask you does your screen look correct, you have to tell them, and they let out that sigh of irritation to let you know that they've about had it. IF YOU HATE YOUR JOB SO MUCH THEN FUCKING QUIT!!! haha. On top of that, 7 times out of 10, they fuck up your order, and if you don't check it right then and there at the window, you're fucked. I want someone to tell me please, how fucking hard it is, to press a button on the register that clearly states the exact item of whatever the person is ordering. I worked in food distribution for a while, on register, and never once fucked up somebody's order.
Another great example of fast food incompetence, comes from every single experience I have ever had at Subway. When I go to subway, again, my order is very simple. I order the type of sandwich I want, and I tell them I want EVERYTHING ON IT! So I don't know if every employee of subway cant process simple words fast enough, or if they are hearing impaired, because every single time after I've already told them I want everything, they continue to ask me what particular vegetables I want. "Do you want cucumbers?" they'll ask, "Yes, I want everything please," I kindly reply. "Olives also?"..........."Yes....Everything."
"Even jalapenos?"..............By this time I'm thinking to myself..ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!??WHAT THE FUCK DOES EV-ER-Y-THING MEAN TO YOU!!!?? IT DOESN'T MEAN, LETTUCE AND TOMATOES BUT NO ONIONS, IT MEANS I WANT ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING YOU PUT ON THE GODDAMN SANDWICH!!!!!! Even the employees that see me come in there all the time, do the same exact shit to me. Just because the job title is fast food employee, does not mean that the manager's have to hire idiot employees to further the fast food stereotype.
Now, the last thing that just irritates the shit out of me, is when the person behind the register, or behind the drivethru speaker, can't understand you, and you definitely can't understand them. I have no problem with people of different cultures and races getting equal employment opportunities, I would just like the person that is responsible for taking my order, TO BE ABLE TO SPEAK UNDERSTANDABLE ENGLISH!!!! I'll give you an actual word for word quote from a personal experience at a jack n the box.
I went there to order breakfast before work, had very little time, and I knew exactly what I wanted. There were no cars in the drivethru so I figured I would have no trouble. I get up to the menu and she asks me "What can I get for you today," but imagine it's said in an Indian accent. (Eastern Indian, not Native American). I said, "Yeah, I would Like a hearty breakfast bowl and a small coffee please."
"Ok, breakfast burrito and orange juice." I said "No, HEARTY BREAKFAST BOWL AND SMALL COFFEE!!!"................"Breakfast bowl and large orange juice?"............"NO!!!!! NOT ORANGE JUICE, SMALL COFFEE!!!"................."Ok, so small orange juice?" I had fucking had it at that point, and I said "FUCK THIS!!" and drove through without getting my order because it had already taken me almost five minutes because this bitch can't understand the difference between the words orange juice, and coffee.
Anyways.....I had an incident at subway the other day, so that's what sparked the rant today. It's been years and years of built up anger and irritation that there are actually people in this world that are really so stupid, I just don't get it..........How many of you can at least agree to that notion?
I had this experience yesterday. "no cheese or pickles" apparently means no onions double pickles...
